Welltower Inc. priced its first green bond offering of $500 million of 2.700% notes due Feb. 15, 2027, at 99.893% of the principal amount, with a 2.716% yield at maturity.

The healthcare real estate investment trust will use net proceeds mainly to fund renewable energy, water conservation, energy efficiency and green building projects.
