Walt DisneyCo.'s ABC(US) is reintroducing its ad-supported streaming service with sevenoriginal digital short-form series and full seasons of 38 older shows, Variety reported July 13, citing acompany statement.
The new digital shorts, called the ABCd series are "AllMy Gay Friends are Getting Married," "Boondoogle," "Forever31," Tastemade's "Get Cookin'," "I Can Find $3,000 In YourHome," "Newborn Moms," and "On The Record." The"throwback" series, meanwhile, include "8 Simple Rules,""Benched," "Brothers & Sisters," "Commander inChief," "Hope and Faith," "Ugly Betty," "What AboutBrian?" and "The Neighbors."
Viewers on ABC.com and the ABC apps for mobile and connectedTV devices will be able to access the series without signing in, according tothe report.
ABC teamed up with Hearst Corp. to introduce the service in 14 additionalmarkets.
