HSBC Bank Australia Ltd. appointed Guy Dickinson as head of global markets and treasurer and Joseph Arena as head of global trade and receivables finance.

Dickinson succeeds Gavin Powell, who was appointed head of global markets for HSBC Singapore, the bank said Oct. 18. Dickinson most recently served as head of global markets for HSBC Thailand. He will now be responsible for the bank's global markets business in Australia and New Zealand.

Arena will relocate from Singapore where he led the growth of HSBC's global trade and receivables finance. He succeeds Rohit Garg, who has taken up a group role with HSBC Holdings Plc in London.
