Reliv' International Inc. said its normalized net income for the first quarter was a loss of 2 cents per share, compared with 9 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of $41,660, compared with income of $165,280 in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin declined to negative 0.3% from 1.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue declined 12.1% year over year to $13.0 million from $14.8 million, and total operating expenses declined 8.2% on an annual basis to $13.2 million from $14.4 million.
Reported net income came to a loss of $43,660, or a loss of 2 cents per share, compared to income of $128,220, or 6 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
