Time Warner Inc.'s HBO (US) unveiled HBO Now and HBO Go apps for Google Inc.'s Daydream View virtual reality headset, according to a Dec. 8 official blog post.

Also, Google unveiled two new colors for Daydream, in addition to new games and an app for Netflix Inc.'s streaming service. The limited edition Crimson and Snow Daydream View will be available for purchase online in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia.

The new apps are "LEGO BrickHeadz Builder VR," "Gunjack 2: End of Shift," "NextVR," "Layers of Fear: Solitude," "Wands," "Underworld Overlord" and "Need for Speed No Limits VR."
