Walt DisneyCo. participated in a $15 million funding round for Playbuzz, aplatform for online content engagement and social distribution.
Playbuzz said March 31 that it will use the investment to furtherenhance its proprietary content-engagement platform and expand its sponsoredcontent business. Existing investors 83North, Carmel Ventures and FirstTimeVentures also participated in the investment round, which was led by SabanVentures.
The interest in Playbuzz is owned by a wholly ownedsubsidiary of Disney.
