Republic First to restructure Oak Mortgage unit as a department

More than a year after it acquired Oak Mortgage Co. LLC, Philadelphia-based Republic First Bancorp Inc. plans to restructure the entity as a department — as opposed to subsidiary — of Republic First Bank.

The restructuring is scheduled for completion Jan. 1, 2018.
