operator MásMóvil Ibercom SA is in final-stage discussions to purchase mobile virtualnetwork operator Pepephone for about €150 million, Telecompaper reported April 28,citing unnamed sources mentioned by El Economista.

If the dealpushes through, MásMóvil will reportedly have close to 1 million customers.

Launched inSpain in 2007, Pepephone has over 500,000 domestic subscribers, according to thereport.

MásMóvil recentlyoffered €550 million for the latter's77% stake in Yoigo, afterTelecable de Asturias SAUowner Zegona Communications plcfailed to secure funding for its €630 million bid.
