UK FinancialInvestments Ltd. said March 31 that was named CEO by U.K.Chancellor George Osborne.

Holbourn previouslyserved as head of U.K. equity capital markets for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Osborne also appointed James Leigh-Pemberton UKFI chairman,while Peter Norton was named head of banking and capital markets. Norton joinedUKFI in March 2014 from UBS GroupAG, where he worked on a broad range of advisory and capitalraising assignments for U.K. and European financial institutions.

UKFI will become a subsidiary of the newly created UKGovernment Investments, effective April 1.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is the marketing name for theglobal banking and global markets business of Bank of America Corp.
