Vilniaus degtine Q1 profit climbs 66.9% YOY

AB Vilniaus degtine said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to €107,970, an increase of 66.9% from €64,710 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin increased to 2.3% from 1.6% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed 13.0% year over year to €4.7 million from €4.1 million, and total operating expenses climbed 12.3% on an annual basis to €4.5 million from €4.0 million.

Reported net income rose 85.6% on an annual basis to €156,500, or 1 cents per share, from €84,320, or 0 cents per share.
