Ambler Savings Bank elected Geoffrey Ries chairman of its board of trustees.

Ries has served on the bank's board of trustees since 1996. He is currently an executive vice president in Gessner Products.

The Ambler, Pa.-based company also elected Gregory Herb and Kevin Cuthill to the board.

Herb is the president of Herb Real Estate, while Cuthill has been a financial adviser in Edward Jones Investments since 2012.
