Manchester Building Society told to pay Grant Thornton £1.97M in interim costs

Manchester Building Society will pay Grant Thornton UK LLP about £1.97 million in interim costs, due by June 15, following rulings by a U.K. court on May 2 and May 18.

The amount is net of the damages awarded and the interim costs Grant Thornton was ordered to pay to the society. Manchester Building Society had filed the claim against Grant Thornton in 2015 for negligence from 2006 through 2013.
