Enel names new head of North American business

Enel SpA named Enrico Viale as head of North America region, comprised of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. The appointment is effective July 1.

Viale is currently head of the global thermal generation business line, according to a June 3 news release. Antonio Cammisecra will succeed Viale and will also retain his current responsibilities as head of Enel Green Power and the Africa, Asia and Oceania region.

Also effective on July 1, the South America region would become Latin America as it will integrate group activities in Central American countries, namely Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama. The South America region is headed by Maurizio Bezzeccheri.
