French private equity firm Astorg Partners invested an undisclosed amount in U.S.-based clinical trial technology company, eResearchTechnology Inc., or ERT.

ERT's management team and existing shareholders Nordic Capital and Novo Holdings A/S will reinvest in the company alongside Astorg. Nordic initially invested in the Philadelphia-based data company through its Fund VIII and will reinvest through its Fund IX.

Completion of the transaction is subject to approvals from relevant antitrust authorities.
