Van De Velde H1 profit climbs YOY

Van de Velde NV said its first-half normalized net income amounted to €1.54 per share, a gain from €1.48 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was €20.5 million, an increase from €19.8 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue totaled €113.9 million, compared with €113.4 million in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses came to €80.8 million, compared with €81.0 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income declined year over year to €21.2 million, or €1.59 per share, from €22.0 million, or €1.65 per share.
