Evergy to build 9.6-MW solar project in Missouri

Evergy Inc. announced Oct. 10 plans to build a new solar project in West Plains, Mo., with a capacity of 9.6 MW.

Evergy's Energy Partners division will develop the project for the city of West Plains, according to a news release. The division offers energy management solutions, asset optimization, risk management and advisory services and renewable energy options to utilities, large industrial customers and independent power producers.
