O'will Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to ¥7.86 per share, a gain of 88.6% from ¥4.17 per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥24.8 million, a gain of 88.6% from ¥13.1 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 0.4% from 0.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 13.3% on an annual basis to ¥7.06 billion from ¥6.23 billion, and total operating expenses climbed 12.9% from the prior-year period to ¥7.02 billion from ¥6.21 billion.
Reported net income grew year over year to ¥16.0 million, or ¥5.08 per share, from ¥4.0 million, or ¥1.27 per share.
As of Feb. 12, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.90.
