Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai on Aug. 14 tapped Jennifer Tatel to serve as the agency's new acting general counsel.
Tatel succeeds Brendan Carr, who was sworn in last week as a commissioner along with Jessica Rosenworcel.
Tatel most recently served the FCC as chief of staff and deputy general counsel. Before joining the Office of General Counsel in 2011, Tatel served as legal adviser to Commissioner Meredith Attwell Baker.
