ParamountPictures Vice Chairman Rob Moore is leaving the embattled movie division ofViacom Inc., which isfacing a financial and management struggle of its own, Bloomberg News reportedSept. 23, citing an unnamed source.
Viacomrecently announced a $115 million write-down for "Monster Trucks,"its upcoming family film which has been delayed thrice and is currently set tobow in theaters in January 2017, according to the report.
The mediagiant has abortedplans to sell a minority stake in Paramount Pictures, and announced departureof interim Viacom President and CEO Tom Dooley in November.
TheHollywood studio will not seek a replacement for Moore, according to the report.
