U.K.-based payment company Worldpay Group Plc appointed Peter Jackson CEO of Worldpay U.K., effective March 1.

He will report to Philip Jansen, group CEO. Jackson was most recently the head of global innovation at Banco Santander SA and is also a former CEO of foreign-exchange company Travelex Group.

Former Worldpay U.K. Managing Director Dave Hobday announced his resignation in December 2016 and will become CEO of the RAC Group, a U.K.-based provider of automotive breakdown insurance.
