Amazon.com Inc. on Oct. 11 unveiled Kindle Oasis, its new Kindle e-reader that is waterproof and features a seven-inch, 300 ppi display with Audible built in.

The 8 GB version of Kindle Oasis costs $249.99, the 32 GB model costs $279.99, while the 32 GB version with free cellular connectivity will be available for $349.99.

The new Kindle is available for pre-order at amazon.com and will start shipping Oct. 31.
