Aquila Capital acquires 53 MW of wind projects in Finland

Aquila Capital Investmentgesellschaft Mbh has acquired two operational wind projects in northern Finland with a combined capacity of about 53 MW.

The German investment manager purchased the facilities from wind developer Tuuliwatti Ltd., according to an Aug. 12 news release. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

One of the projects has a capacity of 34.5 MW and has been in operation since 2012, while the other is 18.5 MW and came online in 2015. Both wind farms feature Vestas Wind Systems A/S turbines.
