Executive, director moves through Oct. 12

S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a weekly rundown of recent board and executive changes in the metals and mining industry. The moves are listed in chronological order.

Oct. 8

Orocobre Ltd. director Courtney Pratt will retire following the lithium producer's annual meeting Nov. 23.

Simon Francis was appointed as chairman for High Grade Metals Ltd., replacing Steve Formica, who will stay as nonexecutive director. Adrien Wing took over from David Palumbo as a nonexecutive director and company secretary.

Mount Ridley Mines Ltd. selected Peter Christie as nonexecutive chairman, effective immediately. Christie succeeded Michael Pedley, who resigned to pursue other business interests.

Karen O'Neill agreed to take on the role of CFO for Kingsrose Mining Ltd.

Ironbark Zinc Ltd. accepted the resignation of nonexecutive director David Kelly.

Nonexecutive director Asimwe Kabunga left Strandline Resources Ltd.

Oct. 9

Jaxon Mining Inc. said Alain Voisin replaced Oleg Scherbina as CFO, effective immediately.

John Boehner, James Gowans and William Mulrow were added to the board of Titan Mining Corp. as directors.

Algold Resources Ltd. director John Hick retired to allow major shareholder Wafa Mining & Petroleum SA nominee Ousmane Kane to join the board as a director.

Oct. 10

Neil McMillan agreed to join the board of Rockcliff Metals Corp. as a director, replacing Gerry McCarvill, who resigned.

Falco Resources Ltd. CFO Vincent Metcalfe vacated his post, and Anthony Glavac is filling the position in the interim.

Nova Scotia Senator Michael MacDonald joined as a director for Canada Carbon Inc.

Osino Resources Corp. selected David Hodgson and Lazarus Shigwedha as independent directors. Director David Toyoda left the Canada-listed explorer.

Gerald Panneton took over as president and CEO of Prophecy Development Corp. Panneton replaced John Lee, who will remain with the Canadian company as chairman.

BlueBird Battery Metals Inc. picked Leigh Hughes to replace Terence Topping as a director.

Serge Beausoleil was nominated to replace Stephen McGinn as a director for Northcore Resources Inc. McGinn resigned to pursue other professional activities.

Henan Jinma Energy Co. Ltd. named Qiu Quanshan a nonexecutive director.

Oct. 11

Robert Rosner agreed to fill the newly created position of executive chairman for TomaGold Corp., effective immediately.

Comet Resources Ltd. said David Prentice joined as a nonexecutive director. Edmund Czechowski and Roj Jones stepped down as directors.

Anton du Plessis was picked to take up the roles of CEO and a director for Erris Resources PLC, replacing Merlin Marr-Johnson, who stepped down to pursue other business interests.

Lead Ventures Inc. said Roma Khanna withdrew her name as a director nominee in the resulting company following a reverse takeover with vertically integrated medical and wellness cannabis operator PalliaTech Inc. Peter Derby was named as a nominee to replace Khanna as a director.

Sam Ataya stepped in as CEO for Nevada Clean Magnesium Inc., replacing Edward Lee, who will remain as executive chairman. Ataya also took a seat on the Canada-listed explorer's board as a director.

NV Gold Corp. said Alfred Stewart joined its board as a director.

Oct. 12

Mark Freeman was appointed an executive director for Frontier Diamonds Ltd. Director Chris Ritchie vacated his seat on the board.

Bunker Hill Mining Corp. parted ways with Bruce Reid, who relinquished his roles as president, CEO and a director. Director John Ryan will succeed Reid as president and CEO in the interim.
