Mary Chia Holdings fiscal H1 loss narrows YOY

Mary Chia Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Sept. 30 was a loss of S$494,500, compared with a loss of S$558,000 in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue rose on an annual basis to S$8.0 million from S$7.8 million, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to S$8.1 million from S$8.0 million.

Reported net income came to a loss of S$726,000, or a loss of 0 cents per share, compared to a loss of S$969,000, or a loss of 1 cents per share, in the prior-year period.

As of Nov. 13, US$1 was equivalent to S$1.42.
