Lithuania's Cgates buys cable operator

Lithuaniantelco Cgates UAB hasacquired Remo Televizija, a local cable operator serving the towns ofElektrenai and Kaišiadorys, Telecompaper reported May 4, citing Vz.lt.

Cgates has about 130,000 pay TV-subscribing households and90,000 internet customers, according to the report. Financial terms of the dealwere not revealed.

Cgates is a unitof Estonia's StarmanAS.
