Wesley Bricker, the Securities and Exchange Commission's chief accountant, plans to leave the agency in June.

Sagar Teotia has been named the SEC's acting chief accountant following Bricker's departure.

Bricker became the agency's chief accountant in 2016. Teotia has been the SEC's deputy chief accountant since 2017.
