has bagged a networkexpansion deal with telco service provider Hutchison 3 Indonesia (H3I),according to an April 27 news release.
Under the deal,Nokia will expand H3I's core network to meet the increasing mobile data demandsin the Indonesian market. Nokia will supply H3I with packetcore technology in some of the country's densely populated cities such asSurabaya, Semarang, Solo and Yogyakarta.
H3I hasbeen seeing data traffic double approximately every nine months as Indonesia isexperiencing rapid smartphone and 3G data service adoption.
Financialdetails of the deal were not disclosed.
