Report: Greece makes €1.54B payment to ECB

Greece made a €1.54 billionpayment July 20 on a maturing government bond, including accrued interest, tothe ECB, Reutersreported the same day, citing government officials.

Greece used cash from a €7.5billion disbursementfrom the European Stability Mechanism in June, part of €10.3 billion of financialassistance for the country, out of a total bailout program volume of up to €86billion.

Including the bond repayment tothe ECB, the country has so far made total payments of €2.64 billion, agovernment official told the newswire.
