Brookfield sells downtown Boston office tower for $635M

Brookfield Properties sold the 1.16 million-square-foot 75 State St. office tower in downtown Boston for $635 million, Banker & Tradesman reported, citing data from the Suffolk Registry of Deeds.

An affiliate of Rockpoint Group bought the 98%-leased property, with Rockpoint assuming a 2015 mortgage on the tower with a $310 million outstanding balance, according to the report.
