The Wednesday Express: Judge tosses case accusing Citi of running 'boys' club'

* A federal judge in Manhattan dismissed a lawsuit accusing Citigroup of having a "culture of gender discrimination" where "the boys were in charge," Reuters reports. The lawsuit was filed by Erin Daly, a former financial adviser at Citi.

* California State Treasurer John Chiang is attending Wells Fargo's April shareholder meeting to "forcefully argue that four long-time board members be jettisoned," the San Francisco Business Times reports. Chiang told the publication that he notified the bank of his intention eight days before the Federal Reserve disclosed its consent order against Wells Fargo.

* Following a strategic review, Manulife Financial is considering the sale of some of its U.S. insurance asset sales and decided against an initial public offering of its John Hancock unit, "people familiar with the plans" told Reuters.

* Andy Slavitt, a former health official in the Obama administration, has brought together a high-profile group of public figures to advocate for policies that would lower costs and improve access to health care. The newly created bipartisan organization, United States of Care, is comprised of top hospital executives and former lawmakers.

* Genworth Financial and China Oceanwide Holdings Group refiled their joint application with the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. as it relates to their ongoing acquisition.

* Total System Services' ProPay launched ProPay Payment Network, a suite of services that allows software-as-a-service platforms to facilitate the movement of money globally.
