Woori Bank issues US$550M of hybrid securities

South Korea's Woori Bank issued US$550 million of Basel III-compliant contingent capital securities with write-down features on Sept. 25, the Maeill Business Newspaper reported.

The securities were issued as perpetual bonds with a coupon of 4.25%.

Woori Bank is a unit of Woori Financial Group Inc.
