Nashville bank division files de novo charter to operate independently

Tennessee Bank & Trust filed a de novo interagencycharter and federal deposit insurance application with the FDIC and the TennesseeDepartment of Financial Institutions.

Tennessee Bank & Trust operates as a division ofBlytheville, Ark.-based FarmersBank and Trust Co. The division was created in 2004 when Farmersopened a branch in Franklin, Tenn. It opened a second office in 2006 inNashville. It is applying to operate as anindependent bank and plans to be headquartered in Nashville with the Franklinlocation operating as a branch.

Gaylon Lawrence Jr., Steve Bell, Dan Andrews Jr., JasonWest, Barbara Zipperian and Roddy Story Jr. are the bank's incorporators.
