Warren, N.J.-based Aquestive Therapeutics Inc. said it appointed Santo Costa as the chairman of its board.

Costa joined the Aquestive board in 2015 and replaces Douglas Bratton, who will continue as a director of the specialty drug manufacturer. Costa has over four decades of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare and life sciences industries.

Costa is the former president, vice chairman and COO of Quintiles Transnational Corp. and oversaw all operating divisions and worldwide business development.
