S&P assigns ratings to FNB, unit

S&P Global Ratings assigned a BBB- long-term issuer credit rating to Pittsburgh-based F.N.B. Corp.

In addition, the rating agency assigned a BBB long-term issuer credit rating to F.N.B. unit First National Bank of Pennsylvania.

The outlook on both ratings is stable.

The ratings reflect F.N.B.'s well-managed loan portfolio with good performance, capital ratios adequate with Ratings' assessment and funding and liquidity ratios in line with U.S. regional bank peers.
