WellCare Health Plans chief accounting officer to resign

WellCare HealthPlans Inc. said in a Form 8-K filed March 31 that Maurice Hebert onMarch 28 informed the company that he will resign as chief accounting officer, effectiveApril 22, to assume a senior management role at a private health care company.

The company currently expects to appoint Michael Meyer as theprincipal accounting officer, effective April 15.

Meyer is being promoted to vice president and corporate controller,effective immediately, and has been the company's vice president for financial reportingand analysis since May 2015.
