International edition: Corus, Netflix ink Canadian deal for Nickelodeon shows; China's Tencent buys BBC documentaries

* ArmozaFormats' "Marry Me Now" is set to have two more local versions, WorldScreen.comreportedApril 14. Media 24's Via TV acquired the wedding-themed show in South Africa, andwill create a version in Afrikaans. French-Belgian production company ButterfishGroup also bought rights to the show, according to the report. "Marry Me Now"features women who propose to their boyfriends then get married on the spot if theproposal is accepted.

* Canada'sCorus Entertainment April 12 that it sold realestate-themed shows "Buying the View" and "Masters of Flip"in multiple territories. Australia's Nine Network and A+E Networks Asia acquired"Buying the View," a series produced by Our House Media and W Network.Life Inspired in Asia and Discovery Channel in Norway bought "Masters of Flip,"while Nine Entertainment Co. picked up the series' second season. is jointly owned by and , while Discovery Channel isowned by Discovery CommunicationsInc.

* Kidsshow "Piny, Pinypon," produced by Spanish studio Anima Kitchent and toycompany Famosa, is heading to Mexico and Russia, Variety reportedApril 5. The show's expansionis part of a deal between Anima Kitchent, Mexico's Grupo Televisa SAB and Russia's Karusel TV and Ani. The seriesis about Piny, the janitor's daughter at an elite high school where creativity andfashion are among the main subjects, according to the report.

* commissioned ITV Studiosand Pukeko Pictures to make a third series of "Thunderbirds Are Go." Thethird season will be composed of 26 half-hour episodes and will air in 2017, said April 5. ITV Studios Global Entertainment has sold "ThunderbirdsAre Go" to more than 40 countries worldwide.

"Worst to First,"produced by Great Pacific Media, follows contractors Mickey and Sebastian as theyattempt to pull off ambitious home renovations. Both series are in production.

The deal grants Sky TV users access to shows such as the reboot of "ThePowerpuff Girls," plus exclusive on-demand access to box sets of "TheAmazing World of Gumball" and "Adventure Time." Starting May, inaddition to live viewing, kids can also watch on demand more episodes from the unit's programmingslate,  such as "Ben 10," "RegularShow," "Scooby Doo," "Tom & Jerry" and "LooneyTunes."

Season2 of "Project Mc2," a show about girls who are members of a super-secretspy organization called NOV8, will premiere Aug. 12, while the third season willpremiere in fall 2016, the streaming giant saidApril 6.

* China'sTencent Holdings Ltd.acquired over 1,000 hours of documentaries from the British Broadcasting Corp., BBC Worldwide Ltd. saidApril 4. Through the licensing deal, programs such as "Attenborough: 60 Yearsin the Wild," "How We Got to Now" and "The Mekong River withSue Perkins" will be added to Tencent online video platforms including v.qq.comand the Tencent Video app.

* Inmore Netflix news, the company strucka deal with Cineflix Rights to pick up exclusive worldwide streaming rights to crimedrama series "Marcella," VarietyreportedApril 3. The series stars Anna Friel as a troubled detective mother of two childrenwho gives up her career to care for her family.

* Netflixwill premiere original film "The Fundamentals of Caring" on June 24 inall territories where Netflix is available. The movie premiered at the 2016 SundanceFilm Festival as the Closing Night film, according to an April 1 news . The movie is based on anovel by Jonathan Evison and written, directed and produced by Rob Burnett. "TheFundamentals of Caring" stars Paul Rudd, Craig Roberts, Selena Gomez, JenniferEhle, Megan Ferguson and Frederick Weller.
