Accenture PLC booked $1.13 billion in attributable net income for its fiscal fourth quarter, compared with $1.03 billion in the year-ago period.

EPS for the quarter was $1.74, up from $1.58 in the previous year and exceeding the S&P Global Market Intelligence consensus estimate of $1.72.

Revenues rose year over year to $11.06 billion in the fiscal quarter ended Aug. 31 from $10.50 billion in the year-ago period.

The consulting, technology and outsourcing service provider booked operating income of $1.57 billion in the quarter, compared with $1.47 billion in the prior-year period.

For the full fiscal year ended Aug. 31, Accenture reported attributable net income of $4.78 billion, or $7.36 per share, up from $4.06 billion, or $6.34 per share, in the previous year.

Revenue for the fiscal year rose to $43.22 billion from $40.99 billion in the prior year.

Accenture's board declared a quarterly dividend of 80 cents per share, payable Nov. 15. The dividend reflects a 10% increase from the equivalent quarterly rate in the prior year as the company is moving to a quarterly dividend schedule in fiscal 2020 from a semiannual schedule previously.

In the first quarter of fiscal 2020, Accenture expects revenues of $10.9 billion to $11.2 billion.

The company projects EPS of $7.62 to $7.84 for fiscal 2020 and revenue growth of 5% to 8% in local currency.
