Lumos Networks Corp. acquired three Charlotte, N.C.-based DC74 Data Centers for $23.5 million to $28.5 million.
The price range depends on future growth earn-out projections, implying a multiple of about 8x-10x adjusted EBITDA in 2016, the company said Feb. 1. The acquisition increased the number of Lumos operated co-location facilities to 10, Lumos CEO and President Timothy Biltz said.
DC74 provides co-location, disaster recovery, managed services and managed hosting at its three fiber-fed facilities in Charlotte.
