Swedish fashion company H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB (publ) on Aug. 13 launched a revamped e-commerce platform and mobile app for its U.S. customers.
The improved website and mobile app include new shipping options, as well as features like visual search, which allows customers to find items using images, and scan and find, which lets shoppers scan the price tag of an item in a store and find out more about the product, such as available colors and sizes, online.
A find-in-store feature, which lets customers locate an item in the H&M store closest to them, will also be introduced this fall.
The apparel retailer said that while the new features will automatically be reflected on the website, Android and iOS users need to delete the old mobile app and download the new version to see the changes.
