Duke Energy chief becomes new chairman of Edison Electric Institute

The Edison Electric Institute appointed Duke Energy Corp. Chairman, President and CEO Lynn Good as its board chairman, replacing PNM Resources Inc. Chairman, President and CEO Patricia Vincent-Collawn.

Exelon Corp. President and CEO Christopher Crane and Xcel Energy Inc. Chairman, President and CEO Ben Fowke were elected as vice chairmen, according to a June 6 news release.

The Edison Electric Institute is an association that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies and its chairmanship rotates each year.
