Hakers Enterprise Co. Ltd. said its fourth-quarter normalized net income came to 73 Taiwan cents per share, a decrease of 31.3% from NT$1.07 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$37.2 million, a decline of 31.3% from NT$54.2 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 7.0% from 9.7% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to NT$535.8 million from NT$557.8 million, and total operating expenses fell from the prior-year period to NT$480.6 million from NT$500.7 million.
Reported net income fell 25.2% on an annual basis to NT$40.6 million, or 80 cents per share, from NT$54.2 million, or NT$1.07 per share.
For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled NT$4.02 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of NT$5.11.
EPS declined 5.6% from NT$4.26 in the prior year.
Normalized net income was NT$203.7 million, a decrease of 5.5% from NT$215.6 million in the prior year.
Full-year total revenue fell 10.5% from the prior-year period to NT$2.37 billion from NT$2.65 billion, and total operating expenses decreased 10.9% on an annual basis to NT$2.09 billion from NT$2.35 billion.
The company said reported net income decreased year over year to NT$260.3 million, or NT$5.14 per share, in the full year, from NT$267.3 million, or NT$5.28 per share.
