New Millennium Iron Corp. said Dec. 22 that President and CEO Robert Patzelt will leave the company and its board at the end of 2016.

Ernest Dempsey will succeed Patzelt as CEO on an interim basis, effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Dempsey has been with the company since 2011 and brings with him more than 40 years of international experience in the iron ore industry. He is vice president of marketing and corporate affairs.
