Skylark Q3 profit climbs YOY

Skylark Holdings Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to ¥28.22 per share, a gain from ¥13.90 per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥5.54 billion, an increase from ¥2.65 billion in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 6.0% from 3.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue increased on an annual basis to ¥91.77 billion from ¥89.61 billion, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to ¥82.12 billion from ¥84.58 billion.

Reported net income grew from the prior-year period to ¥5.43 billion, or ¥27.68 per share, from ¥2.55 billion, or ¥13.40 per share.
