Sky Gold Corp. said May 30 that it received a drill permit for its flagship Clone gold project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. The company's maiden drill campaign is expected in July.

The permit allows for drilling from 25 drill sites and 10 trench areas over a five-year period. It also covers the expanded Clone property and includes the recently discovered Southern Glory prospect.

Sky Gold, previously known as Sunvest Minerals, said it is now reviewing bids from diamond drill contractors.
