Celebrate International Holdings Ltd said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to a loss of 4 Hong Kong cents per share, compared with a loss of 26 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of HK$9.6 million, compared with a loss of HK$3.4 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue rose on an annual basis to HK$31.0 million from HK$1.6 million, and total operating expenses grew from the prior-year period to HK$45.4 million from HK$6.9 million.
Reported net income came to HK$9.9 million, or 4 cents per share, compared to a loss of HK$7.9 million, or a loss of 59 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
