Finnish mobile game maker and animation studio Rovio Entertainment Ltd. may go public as early as September, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg News.
According to the report, the public float could see the "Angry Birds" maker raise about $400 million from a local listing, bringing its valuation at about $2 billion. However, the company could also decide to remain private for longer.
In June, China's Tencent Holdings Ltd. was reported to be looking into acquiring Rovio for close to $3 billion.
