Yamae Hisano fiscal Q3 profit climbs 23.9% YOY

Yamae Hisano Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2014, was ¥45.48 per share, a gain of 23.9% from ¥36.71 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥917.9 million, an increase of 23.9% from ¥741.0 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 1.0% from 0.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew year over year to ¥95.45 billion from ¥93.88 billion, and total operating expenses rose on an annual basis to ¥94.05 billion from ¥92.65 billion.

Reported net income increased 94.2% on an annual basis to ¥1.21 billion, or ¥59.85 per share, from ¥622.0 million, or ¥30.82 per share.

As of Feb. 13, US$1 was equivalent to ¥118.68.
