Bellamy's fiscal H1 profit climbs YOY

Bellamy's Australia Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 3 Australian cents per share, a gain of 78.1% from 2 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$3.0 million, an increase from A$1.2 million in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue climbed year over year to A$58.3 million from A$24.1 million, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to A$54.1 million from A$22.2 million.

Reported net income rose year over year to A$3.2 million, or 4 cents per share, from A$1.4 million, or 2 cents per share.
