SouthernSilver Exploration Corp. said July 12 that its shares have startedtrading on the OTCQB under the ticker SSVFF.

The company's shares also trade on the TSX Venture Exchange,the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the Santiago Stock Exchange.

In the same statement, Southern Silver said permitting forits Orocopper-gold project in New Mexico is almost completed and that field work is setto start this week as part of the US$300,000 staged program to explore theproject's Stockpond gold target.

The program will include prospecting and trenching thissummer, followed by drilling in the fall.
