Luminor Bank names head of group strategy, corporate development

Baltic lender Luminor said Janis Dzenis will join the company as head of group strategy and corporate development.

In his new role, Dzenis will lead, manage and coordinate Luminor's strategy process and strategic corporate development projects. He spent the past two years as vice president of Swiss Re AG unit Swiss Re Life Capital Ltd.'s mergers and acquisitions and business development team.

Luminor comprises Estonia-based Luminor Bank AS, Latvia-based Luminor Bank AS and Lithuania-based Luminor Bank AB. It comprises the merged Baltic operations of Sweden-based Nordea Bank AB (publ) and Norway-based DNB ASA.
